* The Barossa is ‘Red’ wine country; Shiraz is its hero but also famous for Cabernet Sauvignon with some of the oldest vines in the world still bearing fruit. Many other wine varieties are also grown successfully in the Barossa like; Grenache, Mourvèdre, Chardonnay and Semillon.

In the nearby hills of Eden Valley – Riesling is grown to best in world standard.

* It’s a one (1) hour drive to the Barossa Valley region.
